.uk Official site: bk8.io

18+ Information site about the BK8 brand. Not BK8.io: no accounts, bets or deposits here. BK8.io is not available in the United Kingdom.

Editorial Policy

This page sets out the rules every bk8io.uk page is written to. They exist because the BK8 name attracts a lot of copied, unsourced and sometimes fraudulent content, and the only useful thing a reference site can offer against that is accuracy you can check.

Sourcing thresholds

  • Operator and licence facts come from bk8.io itself (its footer, terms and region notice) and are cross-checked with the licensing body's validation page for bk8.io. We quote the operator's licence statement word for word rather than paraphrasing it.
  • Sponsorships need either an announcement from the club, team or governing body, or two independent published reports. A press release distributed by a wire service counts as the brand's own statement, not as independent confirmation.
  • Single-source claims are either left out or attributed to their source in the sentence, so the reader knows how firm they are.
  • Background facts about events (dates, venues, results) come from the event organiser or a recognised reference source.

Current or past

A sponsor logo on a website strip proves nothing about whether a deal is still running. We call a partnership current only when a dated announcement from the last twelve months covers it and the term it states has not finished. Every other deal is described as past, with the season or seasons it covered.

What we never publish

  • Bonus amounts, promo codes, odds or payout percentages.
  • Sign-up or "how to join" instructions aimed at readers in the United Kingdom, where BK8.io is not available.
  • Claims that gambling can make money, or any wording that promises a win or suggests a bet carries no risk.
  • Invented figures: user numbers, awards, ratings or testimonials that cannot be traced to a source.
  • The names of individual players, riders or staff. Pages are about the BK8 brand, not about people.
  • Urgency tactics such as countdown clocks or "last chance" offers.

Writing and review

Pages are drafted and reviewed by the bk8io.uk editorial team. Software tools help with drafting and with checking links, headings and structured data, but every published page is read and approved by a person before it goes live, and every factual claim is checked against its listed source.

Updates and corrections

Each page shows a first-published date and a last-updated date. We revisit the timeline and the BK8 News page whenever a new partnership is announced or an existing one ends, and we review the UK access page whenever bk8.io changes its region notice. Corrections are made in place, and the last-updated date moves with them. We never back-date a page.

Independence of judgement

Where something on the official BK8.io site is out of date or cannot be verified, we say so. On the home page, for example, we note that one block of text on bk8.io still refers to a Curaçao licence, while the footer and the regulator's seal show the current Anjouan licence. Readers are better served by that kind of detail than by a page that repeats everything uncritically.
